Privacy Policy

Introduction
CTRLLR ("we", "our", or "us") is a wireless game controller platform developed by Gooey Tech. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and related services.
Information We Collect
Camera Access
Our app requests camera permission solely to scan QR codes for connecting your phone to a game session via WebRTC. Camera data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted, stored, or shared.
Microphone Access
Microphone permission is requested as part of the WebRTC connection setup. Audio data is used only for peer-to-peer communication during active sessions and is not recorded or stored.
Network Data
We use WebRTC for peer-to-peer connections and Socket.IO for signaling. Connection data (such as signaling messages) is used only to establish and maintain your controller session and is not persisted.
Local Storage
We store your preferences and settings locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. No user data is transmitted to external servers beyond what is necessary for WebRTC signaling.
Data Retention
We do not retain any personal data on our servers. All session data is ephemeral and discarded when your controller session ends. Local preferences remain on your device until you uninstall the app.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the date above.
